AWC Water Solutions is looking for a talented Director of Sales to strengthen and expand our company’s market presence throughout North, Central and South America.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote the value proposition of our products/services. Drive profitable sales growth and manage sales – from leads to closing.
  • Research, create, and expand networking venues to evaluate regional market trends and competition. Analyze and leverage industry knowledge to recommend future business opportunities, evaluate existing agent networks, and acquire new business.
  • Identify viable leads, manage prospects, and build a sustainable pipeline to increase sales. Plan and manage quarterly/annual sales budgets. Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Deliver effective presentations, white papers, and demos at C-suite level, conferences, and trade shows to gain customer engagement and future opportunities.
  • Develop and cultivate trusted relationships with executives, key stakeholders, agents, and sponsors to recommend high quality solutions, foster long-term customer relations, including repeat business.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering and production teams. Lead/participate in bid proposals, pricing development, negotiations, completion of sales contracts, resolution of customer issues, and product delivery.
  • Lead, coach & mentor regional sales teams to deliver exceptional service and profitable results.
  • Extensively travel in North, Central, and South America (50% – 60% of time).

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in engineering processes with water and wastewater solutions, complemented with experience in international sales, marketing, and business development within North, Central and South America markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, process, or chemical engineering.
  • Knowledge and understanding of foreign trade agreements, customs, and protocols.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, experience with CRM software, and proposals/budgeting.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, listening, and influential skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with a proven track record of achieving financial results and elasticity to respond to marketplace trends/changes.
  • An innovative ‘out of the box thinker’ with sound judgment and risk-taking abilities.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects with a focus on high-quality results and attention to detail.
  • Leadership excellence that inspires high performance and delivers top-notch customer service.
  • Availability to travel within North, Central and South America, 50% to 60% of time.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (both verbal & written).
