We have an exciting opportunity for an Applications Engineer to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the complete project cycle with clients and consultants from initial quotation, design, technical documentation, approval, and delivery.
  • Prepares and submits to external stakeholders (e.g., consultants) proposals, technical documents, and drawings.
  • Partners with AWC sales team to generate opportunities for package solutions. Offers technical advice, as required.
  • Offers exceptional service to customers’ requests and queries. Addresses issues pro-actively.
  • Develops standard specifications of various AWC package solutions.
  • Prepares and facilitates technical presentations to consulting firms.
  • Monitors project orders to evaluate overall results. Implements changes to achieve financial targets (e.g., profit, utilization, revenue)
  • Manages documentation processes to ensure that quality and service standards are achieved.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years’ engineering experience in water and wastewater for municipal and/or industrial applications.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma preferably in chemical or mechanical engineering.
  • Good working knowledge with CAD & 3D software experience, including MS Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and literature.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Project management experience and proven ability to prioritize/deliver results just in time and on budget.
  • Sound conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
